When something goes wrong on the side of the road in Florida — a flat at midnight, a dead battery in a parking lot, a flood pushing into your driveway — someone has to come.
Since 2022, that someone has been Chavivim.
Florida is two communities at once — the Tampa Bay area on the Gulf, and the South Florida stretch from Miami and Miami Beach up through North Miami Beach, Aventura, Sunny Isles, and Hollywood — and we cover both, year-round. During Yom Tov our members are also on call in Orlando, where the hotline runs through Shabbos and Yom Tov for emergencies — a child or an elderly person locked in a room, or a missing person — under the guidance of our Vaad Harabonim. Every winter the population swells as snowbirds arrive for the season, and every storm season brings its own calls. Because Chavivim is one network across every division, our Florida volunteers run on the same dispatch, the same training, and the same promise as every other division worldwide — so whether you're stranded on I-95 at 2 a.m., locked out in Boca Raton, or riding out a storm in Tampa, someone is already on the way.
Locally, we're who you call when waiting isn't an option, when towing isn't the answer, and when you'd rather hear a familiar voice on the other end.

If you're stuck, call. There's nothing too small.
It's not a service. It's a promise — that when you need help, someone will answer, and someone will come.
